We’re Hiring: Full-Time Office Administrator

Career Services of Brockville requires an Office Administrator to support our employment and business teams. We are a not-for-profit charitable organization that assists approximately 120 people with barriers to employment and has approximately 100 employees.

Mission Statement

Career Services is both a business and a service dedicated to expanding employment opportunities for individuals facing barriers to employment.  We support individuals, employers, and community partners to help people realize their work and life goals.

Reporting to the Manager of Finance and Human Resources, you will be the ambassador for our employment and business teams and will work collaboratively towards our agency’s mission and achieve long-term goals from the strategic plan.

Key Areas of Responsibility & Duties:

  • Ensure that the agency’s mission, vision, and principles are communicated and evident in all
  • Integral part of the administration team.
  • Manage the day-to-day front-of-house operations for our employment support and business services.
  • When possible, assist in developing independence for the people we support.

Qualifications & Skills Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year College Diploma or University Degree bookkeeping, or administration.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Self-starter/ability to take the initiative and manage own work plan in a fast-paced
  • Ability to not only adapt but thrive in a highly active and changing work
  • Knowledge of the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services, and relevant Government Legislation.
  • Proficiency with computer software: Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting Programs (i.e., SAGE)
  • Social media skills are an
  • Previous experience executing administrative support for multi-faceted teams.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are required for this comprehensive

Summer Job Opportunity: Job Coach

Career Services is seeking a post-secondary student(or a student planning to attend post-secondary)

From May to September 2026. Join our team as a Job Coach under our summerWORK$ service path and help others succeed in their very first work experience! summerWORK$ creates first-time employment opportunities for students facing barriers to employment (physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities etc.), by helping each individual learn what is needed to be successful in today’s job market and gain valuable work experience.

In this role, you will work one-on-one with summerWORK$ participants to find and maintain a summer job. You will provide hands-on support as each person learns their job duties, helping build important skills like time management, efficiency, safety in the workplace, and build confidence and independence at work. You will also utilize helpful strategies, tools, and positive role-modeling to support each person’s success on the job.

This unique and rewarding position also requires our student to be flexible in assisting with other duties/responsibilities as needed. This could include administrative work, vacation coverage or assisting a co-worker from our Employment Services team.

What makes a great Job Coach?

· You can manage your schedule independently

· You have strong communication skills – both oral and written

· You enjoy coaching and encouraging others as they learn new workplace skills

· You possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (mileage is re-imbursed monthly)

· Be available to work a flexible schedule including possible weekends and evenings

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble and produce knitting needles to Kollage quality and packaging standards
